WWI German or Austrian officer snapshot Knights Medal?

Description

Small snapshot photo of a European officer vintage WWI.  I am not certain where he is from (thinking Austria or maybe Germany based on the medal, but I could be way off).  Nice tall leather boots and a cool image.  Image is about 2 1/4" x 4".  Wear around the edges and a few tiny missing spots as shown.
