VINTAGE RARE GREEN TURQUOISE (GASPIETE) CHOKER NECKLACE~Circa 1980's STERLING

You are viewing a very unique and rare necklace in the much sought after stone which we believe to be Gaspiete. The necklace was purchased years ago from an antique shop in Ft. Worth, Texas.  There are 26  stones consisting of green and cocoa matrix interspersed w/small and large size stones encased in sterling silver. There are the usual scratches and wear to the silver commensuration with age. There is a strong clasp and the stones lay nice and flat for a comfortable feel to the neck! Unmarked.  If you are looking for something unusual, this is a nice rare necklace in good wearable condition.
Weight is 82.4 grams on my scale.
