Vintage Odd Fellows Helmet Fraternal Skull and Bones Visor Hat Regalia 1900s WOW.
Amazing early 1900s Odd Fellows Helmet.
Features a beautiful skull and cross bones adornment and ornamental spike. This military style helmet has a louvered face guard visor reminiscent of something a knight would wear.
These helmets came from regalia companies that provided goods for fraternal lodges used in ceremonies and events.
There is no makers mark of what company manufactured it, but it is one of the earlier models used.
Helmet size is 7 1/8. From base to spike it measures 10” tall. Face guard is about 8” wide. Front face guard to back of helmet laying flat is 13” long.
This piece is in great condition for its age. Inside liner is partially unattached but can be tucked in the leather head band and is not noticeable.
