Vintage Odd Fellows Hand Embroidered Cotton Fabric Pattern Square.
This is a beautiful vintage hand embroidered square of tan fabric suitable for framing, as a pillow cover, as part of a quilt or whatever use you wish. Many hours of very skillful stitching went into this project.
The fabric measures 22.5 inches wide x 22.25 inches high. The embroidered area measures 18 inches wide x 16 inches high.
The design reads “Friendship, Love and Truth” in arched letters of white, dark blue and red across the top.
In the center is The All Seeing Eye with joined rings in white, dark blue and red on a background of golden rays, surrounded by an ornate white circle.
Below the eye is a pink banner embroidered with I.O.O.F. (Independent Order of Odd Fellows).
At the bottom of the design is a pair of shaking hands embroidered in white.
