Vintage Northwest Glove Co. US Military Mittens Arctic Cold Green Canvas Leather

This pair of Northwest Glove Co. US Military Mittens are in good used condition for their age. Green in color with leather on inside of the hand and a fur like material on the top portion of the hand. Could not find a size. The inside of each is marked - see photo. They show normal wear from age, use and storage - see photos. The leather portion has areas of discoloration and wear marks from use. The top fur like material also has some areas of discoloration. The fur material has let away from the seam on one edge on the left mitten. This is about a 2 inch area - easily fixed. The lower portion of each mitten is a green canvas material. Each mitten has a strap that can tighten the mittens. There is also a canvas strap that the mittens can be tied together. The inside portion of each mitten is snapped into place around the bottom edge. All snaps are in place and work like they should. No rips or tears in the material that we could find. The lower portion has a few small areas of light discoloration. The measurement of each is approx: 15” long x 5 1/2” wide across center of mitten area. Nice!
