Vintage Smokey The Bear cardboard counter top sign and comic book.
Sign measures 8 7/8" x 6 5/8" and is made of heavy gauge cardboard.
The sign depicts a road traveling through an angelic lake and mountain setting. Smokey's face and the standard "Please Only
You
Can Prevent Forest Fires"  is on a wooden sign next to the road with a blue bird sitting on it.
Across the bottom boarder reads "U.S. Dept. of Agriculture - Forest Service, 63 - CFFP - 8, GPO:1962 O-656796" "State of California , Dept. of Conservation, Div. of Forestry"
The sign is in excellent condition, with strong bright colors. The cardboard stand on the back of the sign has never been engaged. Appears to have never been used.
Included is a 1969 "The True Story of Smokey Bear" comic book. In excellent condition.
