Superb Early Studio Photo Young Prussian Soldier with a Fancy Plumed Helmet with Large Eagle Plate
This is an excellent studio photo portrait of a World War I or earlier Prussian German soldier posing in his dress uniform with a very fancy Officer-style Pickelhaube with a tall, dark colored horsehair plume on top.   The helmet plate eagle motto is
Mit Gott für König und Vaterland
.  He is also wearing an edged weapon, a fancy belt buckle and holding his gloves in his hand.
This is a genuine original 100+ year old cabinet card photograph (on chipboard) with the sides trimmed off that measures 65 x 102 mm (2-½ x 4 inches).  Fine condition, exactly as shown.
