    Up for sale is a France 10 Francs Series De 1944 Allied Military Bank Note.

    The following information was found on the internet.
    10 Francs Allied Military Currency banknote issued for use in France in 1944. These notes were used in the
    D-Day
    invasion of France during World War II. The Allied invasion of France in
    Operation Overlord
    began on Tuesday 6 June 1944 with the Normandy landings.
    D-Day
    was the largest seaborne invasion in history. The operation began the liberation of German-occupied France (and later Europe) from Nazi control, and laid the foundations of the Allied victory on the Western Front.
