Old Helmstetter pool cue
probably
from 86 series.
Very good condition, only a few blemishes please see photos
Rolls straight together and apart
Birdseye Maple forearm
4 sharp half spliced points
4 Veneers of maple, light brown, orange, black
Sleeve has unique and beautiful zig-zag inlays and veneers matching the color of the points
Newly wrapped with brown Lizard embossed leather
Perhaps the ferrule has been cut a little short.
Something like a very small crack can be seen beneath the ferrule, but I can' t tell for sure.
So far, no abnormal noises and problems with playing.
