Description

The OB Plus Shaft takes shaft technology to the next level. The state of the art laminated SR-6 shaft construction has evolved into solid maple spliced SR-6+ construction, meaning 13% less tip end mass than the original OB shafts. This new solid maple spliced construction equates to less cue ball deflection. OB shafts have the best combination of the four primary characteristics affecting shaft performance: low cue ball deflection, good overall shaft feel, exceptional playing consistency, and efficient cue ball spin.
This low deflection shaft is a cosmetic blem (commonly referred to as a 2nd) and was marked accordingly by OB Cues with a small dot near the joint of the shaft.  The only blemish I can see is the obvious one by the dot.  This cue was purchased directly from the manufacturer at a discounted price (paid 0 vs. 0 MSRP).  The blemish does not affect playability whatsoever.
