You get a vest, a regular tie and a pocket square in this set.
This is NOT a shiny satin vest.
It is a matte and has a subtle square weave (see pictures -
I overexposed some so you could see the detail of the pattern)
You absolutely could wear this to a daytime occasion (Church, job interview, business meeting etc) it does not scream "High School Prom".
Pair the vest with jeans and no tie and it easily can go casual for a date night.
This is a quality vest by Karl Knox and with proper care should last for years - and this solid matte will never go out of style.
There is one small spot on tie that would most likely come out if you wanted to clean it - but this area is covered by the vest so it isn't necessary really.
