BRUNSWICK GOLD CROWN SERIES POOL CUE – GC5
MADE BY JOSS FOR BRUNSWICK
This is a Brunswick Gold Crown Series pool cue, model GC5, made in 1996 by Joss Cues for Brunswick. Joss made many different cues for Brunswick over the years and the Gold Crown Series consisted of six different cues, from the lowest priced GC1 to the highest priced GC6. One unusual fact about the GC Series cues is that they are all 5/16”-13 joint pins.
The butt sleeve features four hourglass inlays of Pequia Amarello inlays. Pequia Amarello is also known as Yellowheart. Between the hourglass inlays are two golden pearl diamonds with a larger European Pearl diamond inlay. The buttcap is brown phenolic. The forearm is a beautiful piece of Birdseye Maple with four Ebony points, each with an Ebony and Pequia Veneer. Each point has an European Pearl diamond inlay with European Pearl dots above and below.

Condition:
The cue is in excellent condition. There are very few marks on this cue, I can barely feel one in the forearm and there are a couple of scuffs on the bottom of the buttcap. The shaft is clean and smooth. The cue rolls straight together and apart, but there is a tiny lift in the shaft, almost imperceptible, but it’s there. When rolled together the tip stays on the table and when the butt is rolled the joint stays down as well.
