    Description

Christmas card from the AKWA IBOM FIRE SERVICE in Nigeria. Circa 1993.
This is a Christmas card I received during a fire service pen-pal period.
    Is is approximately 5" X 7.5" (folded).
t is a piece of paper folded into a four page card.
The front page is blue, yellow, red, and black with a blue ribbon attached.
Page 2 is a black and white phot of the firefighters training(?) on a brush fire, with "Fire Fighting Demonstration" printed below.
Page 3 has an ink, handwritten "Dear Vinnie" (that's me) and the printed text: "Hearty Greetings and Best wishes to you at Christmas, Happiness and Prosperity in the New Year, From:" then ink handwriting again, "Monday Joshua" (my pen pal). Then... AKWA IBOM FIRE SERVICE, Saving Lives and Property".
    Page 4 is blank.
Also included is the original envelop postmarked in Nigeria and a personal note from Monday to me.
This has been in protected storage since 1993 (I Think). Please see photos. .
