Description

Wonderful 22” ( 24" with stand ) reproduction doll is from the French Emile Jumeau Company.
The model called Portrait Jumeau was manufactured by Pierre Fancois Jumeau in Paris, starting circa 1875.
This lovely doll is on leather body, with porcelain breastplate, wired leather fingers and gusseted elbows and knees.
Her gown is a reproduction of what was called the “Singer” dress which was to advertise the Singer Sewing Machines.
Her gown is silk and laces. She comes with a fox stole with head and feet.
She has a mohair wig, glass eyes, pierced ears with earrings and her boots are of leather.
