    Antique Victorian delicate thin paper art (dinner napkin texture) souvenir from some type of presentation/honorary fire company event or celebration, c.1890, manufactured by "Freie Presse Print", Pennsylvania, USA. A decorative and colorful Asian-styled design covers all areas of the piece and features flowers, men/women/children, humanized animals, a street scene, and birds.
    Several lines of black text read "Compliments of the Delaware Truck Company, of Wilmington, Delaware, to Moyamensing Hook and Ladder Company, of Chester, Pennsylvania". Additonal black text at bottom reads "Henry Zimmerman; Caterer" and "Freie Presse Print, 408 Shipley St.". Asian symbols/signature on the bottom right corner.
    Measures approximately 16" Long x 16" Wide.
    Good. Still intact but very fragile composition. Folds, creases and bends. Evident color rubbing and fading. A handful of edge-tears and folds. Light staining. A once inch hole at the top of the piece (center, above "P" in "Company") and a similar hole in the top right corner. Legible text. A possible frame-worthy candidate.
