Antique French Doll Portrait Jumeau Reproduction Lady

Beautiful OOAK artist doll of the Portrait Jumeau Lady, her serene, sweet expression bisque head is on a
bisque swivel breast plate tied/sewn onto a leatherette antique style body that bends at the elbows, buttocks and knees. Lowe bisque arms have wire apertures inside so they can be bent and posed in a variety of ways; legs are stuffed and without any wire.
French country style outfit consists of a semi-sheer antique dress with tiny dot print. Lots of crocheted lace trim including a lace snood that can easily be worn as a collar or tied and buttoned about the waist if no hood is desired. Under the dress she wears a half cotton slip trimmed in antique eyelet with pink ribbon and matching pantaloons trimmed in a tiny lace, also with pink ribbon trim; lace socks and leatherette antique style shoes.
Her bisque head is topped with a mass of ringlets of a honey brown synthetic wig and then the lace snood type bonnet over that. She is in very good vintage condition without any hairlines, cracks or breaks; very nicely rendered by the artist with a soft expression and blue glass set eyes that is an excellent representation of the antique. She measures about 19” not including the wig and lace cap. Initialed by the artist on the back of her head with the date of 1990.
* Her legs will be slightly bent for shipping to save on postage costs. It's almost twice as much if I put her in a bigger box, but if you want her completely flat, I can revise the invoice for a larger box, just let me know.
