3 WW1 GERMAN ARMY PHOTO Lot MILITARY CDV Soldier Uniform Sword WWI Germany War

Description

This sale offers a lot of 3 vintage and original photographs showing soldiers serving in the Imperial German Army during World War I.  All three CDV photos are mounted and date to 1914-1918. Photos are over 100 years old.   Included is:
(1).
Portrait of German soldier in uniform with overcoat and hat,
measures 4.5" x 3" (16.5cm x 6cm).  On the bottom it appears to be printed "Krause St. Ingbert." Condition is very good, some corner rounding, clear image, typical smudging from age and handling.
(2).
Portrait of German soldier in uniform showing belt buckle, bayonet, and knot
, measures 4.25" x 2" (10.5cm x 5cm).  On the back, it is handwritten, "Photo taken in Vegesack Northern District of the City of Bremen".  Condition very good, some foxing or overexposure on image (see scan), looks like it was once cut down to fit in a frame or someone cut off the matting, slight corner rounding.
(3).
Portrait of German soldier in uniform with cap and appears to be an officer holding a sword.
Entire photo measures 5.5" x 4" (16.5cm x 10.5cm) and image measures 4.25" x 2" (10.5cm x 5cm).  On the bottom it appears to be printed "C. F. Rothlisberger Vegesack Bremer St. 39.".  Condition is very good, slight crease at the top, slight rounded corners, typical wear for age.
