    Description:
    This auction is for a beautiful antique reproduction of 1840s Kestner china head doll with LYDIA hair style. I do not see an artist name or year, possibly made in the 1960s to 1980s she measures approx. 20" tall being a china porcelain shoulder head, arms with molded fingers intact, porcelain legs from the knee down with fancy painted molded brown boots, she has a cloth body torso with upper arms and legs also being cloth. Her lovely face has painted blue eyes, there is a white accent dot to the side of each pupil, black liner over the eye lids with coral liner over the black liner, black long single stroke brows, and closed mouth with white space between her lips. She has painted molded hairstyle parted in the center, smooth on top, ringlet type long curls on sides and back.  I see no damage on this doll. Wears a charming hand made two piece wood suit of period style with lace trim and snaps down the front of her top and waistband of the skirt.She wears a cream color lace trimmed slip with matching pantaloons. Clothing like this doll is clean and in nice condition.
    This antique reproduction Lydia would be a "Treasure" for collection or display!
