    Description

You are purchasing a black and white real photo postcard (RPPC) from World War I.
    SUBJECT:
A young, German soldier named Fritz is seated in full military uniform. His had is removed and sits on the table next to him. He has two military bars attached to his jacket.
    DATE:
    1919.
    CAPTION:
I don't read German, but it appears to be a thank you note from one friend to another. It is dated "Affenthal im Marz, 1919", which is likely the city of Offenthal. There is no postage or postmark. So this note/photo was delivered by hand.
    SIZE:
    5.50 by 3.25 inches.
    CONDITION:
The corners have slight wear. Very nice image.
