This auction is for a signed, beautiful antique reproduction of 1800s Parian Lady bisque shoulder head doll. Signed on the back of her shoulder head is "Dee Gee Doll, D.G.K. #1, 1985". She measures 19" tall being a bisque shoulder head with molded painted necklace, she has bisque arms with molded fingers intact, bisque legs from knee down with fancy molded painted shoes, this doll has a cloth body torso with upper arms and legs being cloth. She displays well with a doll stand or just sitting. A beautiful face with stationary open blue paper-weight glass eyes, painted lashes around the eyes, single stroke long eye brows, she has closed mouth and rose color blush accents her white bisque face. Doll has fancy drop earrings in her ear that matches her dress. Her painted molded blonde hair is in a Victorian style. Wears a Turn of the Century style dress with ribbon and lace trim that snaps down the back, there is a vintage slip with matching pantaloons.
This is a lovely well made artist doll for collection or display!
